Description
Small worms. Prostomium broader than the subsequent segments, ciliated only on its ventral side. Sensory pits lateral. Cutaneous glands golden yellow, of irregular shape. Hair chaetae, 2-5 per bundle, of three different lengths. Dorsal chaetae 110-140, 70-85, and 50-60 µm long, respectively; ventral chaetae somewhat shorter. Chains of three zooids 1.5-2 mm long and about 110 µm wide; segment number of the first zooid 8 (seldom 7 or 9). Differing from congeners in the characteristic colour of cutaneous glands.
Gliding on substratum.

Reproduction
Asexual reproduction by paratomy (budding) prevailing. Maturing seldom.
