Description
Small pink worms. Prostomium roundish. External secondary annulation present in forebody. Chaetae two per bundle, sigmoid with nodulus, simple-pointed. Pharyngeal glands reaching to VII. Chloragogen tissue on oesophagus beginning from VII. No blind lateral vessels in posterior segments. Male pores in X, clitellum in X-XIII. Atria tubular, about ten times as long as width, not distinctly divided into ampulla and duct, their ental end reaching XI; ectal end equipped with small penis. Spermathecae in XI, with large oval ampulla and small well distinguished duct. Differing from congeners in its long atria.
Burrowing in sediment.

Europe.

Ecology
In freshwater, rare.

Reproduction
Sexual only. Eggs laid in cocoons.
