Description
Small worms. Prostomium roundish, slightly broader than subsequent segments; ciliated field restricted to ventral side. Sensory pits lateral, round, connected with ventral field. Cutaneous glands colourless (sometimes with a slight greenish or orange shade) or lacking. Sigmoid chaetae with simple tip. Chaeta of two kinds present. Hair chaetae 0-5 per bundle, of two lengths, 90-135 and 40-80 µm long. Simple-pointed sigmoid chaetae 0-2(3) per bundle, 28-50 µm long. Length of chains of 2 zooids 0.5-2 mm, width 0.05-0.10 mm, segment number of the first zooid 5-6 (or 7-8?). Differing from another colourless species with hair and sigmoid chaetae, Aeolosoma travancorense, in simple-pointed sigmoid chaetae.

Reproduction
Asexual reproduction by paratomy (budding) prevailing. Maturing seldom.
