Description
Small polychaetes, less than one millimetre long. A pair of palps present on anterior end; antennae absent. Body consisting of eight segments, including the first (pharyngeal) segment devoid of any chaetae. II-VIII bear lateral parapodia, with simple hair chaetae.
Crawling on substratum in interstitial crevices. Able to swim.
