Description
Small pink worms. Prostomium roundish. Intersegmental furrows weakly developed. Chaetae two per bundle, sigmoid with nodulus, simple-pointed, 96-111 µm long. Male pores in X, spermathecal pores in XI. Clitellum in X-XII. Pharyngeal glands in IV-1/3 VI. Chloragogen tissue covering oesophagus from VII. Posterior transversal blind vessels absent. Atrial duct at least as long as oval or prolonged pyriform ampulla; penis present. Spermathecae with large ovoid ampulla and short duct. Length about 10 mm, body diameter 0.25 mm, segment number 50-60. Differing from congeners mostly in the combination of the internal characters.
Burrowing in sediment.

Distribution
Germany, Slovakia.

Ecology
In freshwater, in alpine streams and lakes, rare.

Reproduction
Sexual only. Eggs laid in cocoons.
