Description
Naididae with bifid crotchets only. Both dorsal and ventral bundles beginning from II. No eyes. In mature individuals, male pores in VI. Validity of the genus is disputable, since sexual organs are not described in the type species.

Distribution
Almost cosmopolitan.

Ecology
In freshwater.

Reproduction
Mostly asexual, by paratomy (budding). Mature individuals and sexual reproduction rare or seasonal.
