Description
Naidids with uniform bifid crotchets only. Dorsal bundles beginning from VI. Eyes present. In mature individuals, male pores in VI.

Distribution
Holarctic, with one finding also from northern South America.

Ecology
In freshwater.

Reproduction
Mostly asexual, by paratomy (budding). Mature individuals and sexual reproduction rare or seasonal.
